Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Staff Accountant to join our Dublin, Ohio office. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in providing accurate and timely financial information to our clients, ensuring compliance with regulations, and actively participating in the growth and success of our firm.
Responsibilities:
Perform general accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparations.
Assist with the preparation of client tax returns, including individual and corporate tax filings.
Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting.
Collaborate with team members to analyze and interpret financial data, identify trends, and generate insightful reports for clients.
Maintain and update client files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information.
Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls.
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and provide proactive guidance to clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or relevant accounting roles.
Proficiency in using QuickBooks software and Microsoft Office suite.
Working toward or possess CPA certification is a plus.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with GAAP and tax regulations.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members and clients.

Work is primarily in-office at our Dublin location, with flexibility to meet work-life balance needs.
Occasional work may occur at our Springfield, Ohio or other locations in the Columbus metro area
